"Salex" is a name that has been an integral part of the lighting industry for over 30 years. When Salex Technical Products was founded in 1974 it became one of the first lighting agencies in Canada. After serving the specifying community for over 37 years, Salex has become synonymous with quality, service and innovative architectural lighting products. In 1997 when Salex Technical Products merged with Marnik Sales and Marketing Inc., the company would be renamed Salex-Marnik. The Salex brand was kept as a link to the past, to the legacy of products and services which were familiar to all within the lighting industry. Marnik was added to the existing brand to signal a change in new ownership, renewed enthusiasm, continued commitment to growth and a stronger position with the Greater Toronto Marketplace. Today, Salex-Marnik remains dedicated to the promotion and education of high quality lighting in the Greater Toronto Region. Salex-Marnik continues to represent a wide array of architectural lighting manufactures through one of the most experienced and professional sales organizations in the lighting industry.
