At the flip of a switch (or in this case the click of a mouse) “a new era” in lighting for the Niagara Falls became a reality this week.
Respecting the landmark’s natural beauty, while ushering in a new era in modern lighting technology, Salex Inc., in partnership with a team of local, Canadian and American companies on this international endeavor, won a global bid to illuminate the Canadian ‘Horseshoe Falls’ and American ‘Bridal Veil’ Falls with the newest in LED lighting technology.
Daily Planet was granted a behind-the-scenes look at our installations and testing, including inner workings of the lighting. The public unveiling of this monumental project took place on the evening of December 1st, 2016.
