We hosted our second annual Light Up Your Landscape event on Thursday, September 10 at Polson Pier’s Cabana Pool Bar in Toronto. Anticipated as the biggest landscape architecture event of the season, our participating manufacturers showcased their most innovative and sought-after outdoor lighting fixtures and landscape furniture, set against the backdrop of the Toronto harbour. This year’s participating manufacturers included Artemide, Delta Light, Equiparc, Lumca, METEOR, Selux, Structura and WE-EF.

LUYL was a huge success, with over 150 landscape architects and industry professionals in attendance! We kicked off the evening with hors d’oeuvres, followed by a delicious Asian-fusion dinner. Halfway through the event, our signature “LED cocktail” was served and Salex Partners Nick, Paul and George gave a toast to guests.

One of the highlights of the evening was the raffle draw for a trip for two to the ASLA Expo in Chicago, including roundtrip airfare and two nights stay at Ian Schrager’s PUBLIC Hotel.

Upon arrival, guests received an event “passport” and were invited to peruse the outdoor lighting and furniture display and speak to manufacturer representatives to receive a signature on their passport. For every signature, guests received an additional raffle ticket for the grand prize draw. Before the end of the night, the winning ticket was drawn, belonging to Todd Smith, landscape architect with IBI Group!
