Salex’s 18th Annual K1 Speed Specifiers Challenge brought together 80 guests and 10 teams for an evening of high energy racing, great food and meaningful industry connection. The competition was fierce from the first heat to the final lap, with teams pushing for the fastest average times and ultimate bragging rights.

After a series of intense races, Mulvey and Banani secured first place with an impressive average lap time of 22.726 seconds. Smith + Andersen followed closely behind in second with a 22.817 average, and Salas O’Brien claimed third with a 22.953 average. With only tenths of a second separating the top teams, the track was nothing short of competitive all night long.

The evening wrapped up with what may have been our most exciting F1 style final yet. Our returning champion led every single lap, holding first place from start to nearly finish, until a dramatic overtake on the final lap pushed him into fourth. Shawn Pascoa from Smith + Andersen captured the win, Shawyan Khoee from Salas O’Brien raced to second, and Michael Mikolainis from Mulvey & Banani secured third in a thrilling finish that had the entire room on their feet.
