This May, Salex hosted its first-ever ping pong event for interior designers, with almost 60 representatives from top firms across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area gathering to get social and play spin at Toronto’s Walrus Pub & Beer Hall.
Attendees had the opportunity to network, work on their backspin, and meet two of our event sponsors and lighting manufacturers: SGi Lighting and Artemide.
To add in an element of friendly competition, designers were encouraged to compete for the first opportunity to take home the trophy – prizes were awarded to the top two players of the evening. Team Hariri Pontarini with Paul Manson as their Salex sales rep took home the trophy, while team superkül with Salex sales rep Patricia Clark finished in a solid second.
It was a great evening to mix and mingle in downtown Toronto over a game of ping pong. Thanks to all of the interior designers who joined us for an evening of networking and fun. We look forward to continuing to collaborate on future lighting projects, and pong-offs, to come!
