One of the world’s most revered resort destinations, this sprawling hotel sits at the heart of the Las Vegas strip, where it has long attracted visitors from across the world. Featuring over 80 restaurants and bars, ten outdoor pools, a full-service spa, and a state-of-the-art casino, the hotel recently underwent a dramatic refresh and revitalization, updating its spaces with eco-friendly fixtures and a lighter, brighter design.
Working with the hotel’s management team, Salex was tapped to retrofit the property with environmentally friendly fixtures sourced from Stanley Lighting. Previously, the hotel had been fitted with energy-heavy Column Wash Lights utilizing 100W, 250W, and 400W metal halide lamps. With a lamp life of only 10,000 hours, these metal halide lamps required frequent maintenance every two years. As part of the renovation, 263 fixtures over four floors were replaced with Stanley LLM0545A lighting. Operating at only 29 watts each, this retrofit introduces extensive energy savings of 80,623.00 watts per hour, and eliminates the need for maintenance for the next 12 to 15 years, realizing the resort’s goal of drastically cutting power consumption across their property.
Designed for both aesthetic and environmental impact, the new lighting enhances night-time viewing for intensity and uniformity, and significantly reduces both system energy consumption and maintenance costs.
