The Kraft Heinz Company (Kraft Heinz) is a multinational food company known for products like Kraft Dinner macaroni and cheese, Heinz ketchup, Kool-Aid, Philadelphia cream cheese and more. The Kraft Heinz office in Toronto went through a comprehensive redesign aimed at crafting a space that was both functional and that reflected the company’s branding.

Syllable and Mulvey led the redesign of the office. Lighting played a crucial role in bringing the entire space together in this project. Upon entry, the lobby immediately captivates with its remarkable ceiling adorned with curved wood slats and interspersed Lumenwerx Aera 3 cylinders, illuminating the front desk and iconic teddy bears. The Artemide Alphabet of Light System adds a decorative element to the first seating area. Lumenwerx Curvia fixtures were used to model macaroni-shaped noodles in the office’s cafeteria. In addition, the cafeteria has a one-of-a-kind lighting fixture. This large fixture was a collaborative effort: Syllable designed it, Kraft provided empty ketchup bottles, and Viso assembled the entire piece, incorporating their globes and greenery. Aaline cone pendants are used in the booths with yellow felt to match the yellow seats. The Curvia by Lumenwerx is also used as an oval fixture in the open seating areas. Overall, this revitalized office space is both vibrant and contemporary, featuring ample lighting that aligns seamlessly with Kraft’s branding.
