The College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) regulates the delivery of veterinary medicine in Ontario. All veterinarians who practise in Ontario must be licensed by the College. The College licenses more than 5,000 veterinarians and accredits over 2,300 veterinary facilities in Ontario.
Dfy Studio spearheaded the new office design for CVO with a serene and organic atmosphere as well as strong textural elements. Salex assisted with the lighting design to support the overall look and feel of the space. The lighting provided beautiful accents for the space that enhanced the design concept. Some had acoustic characteristics which were very functional and aesthetically pleasing. Matteo pendants with a marble finish were used in the front reception area. Kuzco Dune chandeliers were featured in the lunch room. In the open office, Dfy Studio really wanted to really bring a wow-factor to the design. The office had large open spaces with tall exposed ceilings, so it was important to fill the gap and not go over budget to create a dynamic working space. The result was adding the Axis StencilFlex grid to the high ceiling. Senso Leto 11 Cylinders were used throughout the space and Axis Beam 4 was used in the boardroom. The lighting in this office comes together to be both functional and eye-catching.
